Yes! You can run a tune with your eFlexFuel kit. However, your vehicle tune MUST be for regular gasoline (E0-E10).
You CANNOT run an E85 vehicle tune with an eFlexFuel kit already installed. E85 tunes modify fueling - the eFlexFuel kit is already taking care of fueling.
⚠️ Warning: If the vehicle has been modified/tuned, the capacity of the fuel injectors may become a limiting factor when using E85 fuel. E85 requires a higher fuel volume, and if the injectors cannot supply enough fuel, the engine may not receive sufficient fuel in all operating conditions.
Can I tune my eFlexPro?
- Yes, the eFlexPro system is designed to allow the user or tuner to precisely dial in fueling and AFR's.
- To fully tune the eFlexPro system, you will need a wideband sensor installed in your exhaust OR run the vehicle on a dyno.
- eFlexPro tunes ONLY adjust fueling and do not adjust timing, since the eFlexFuel kit does not directly interact with the vehicle's ECU.
