VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a 17-digit vehicle specific code ie. WBANA31040B007408 (i, o, q, not allowed).
In most cases you can find the VIN of your car in engine bay, near drivers door on chassis, lower conner on windscreen or vehicle registration document (see example pictures).
