Having issues connecting your Windows laptop with eFlexTuner to your eFlexFuel device? Follow these steps to achieve a successful connection:
Confirm your eFlexDevice Bluetooth Signal
- Confirm your eFlexFuel device is able to connect to your smartphone in the eFlexApp.
- If you cannot connect to the smartphone eFlexApp, see this article: https://support.eflexfuel.com/hc/en-us/articles/4420139796754
- If you are able to connect in the eFlexApp, follow these steps:
Connecting via Windows eFlexTuner Software
- Disconnect / unpair your eFlexFuel device from your smartphone eFlexApp. The eFlexFuel device can only support one connection at a time. If it is connected to your phone, you will not be able to connect to your Windows laptop. Some users like to turn Bluetooth off on their smartphone to be sure.
- DO NOT pair/connect the eFlexFuel device in the Windows Bluetooth settings. If you pair/connect in the Windows Bluetooth settings, you will not be able to connect to eFlexTuner. If you have paired your eFlexFuel device in the Windows Settings, unpair / remove this connection before opening the eFlexTuner software.
- Open the eFlexTuner software on your Windows laptop.
- Click on the blue Bluetooth "Connect" button in the upper-left corner.
- Select "eFlexFuel" from the device list and press Connect.
NOTE: The device list and connection status windows are pop-ups. Sometimes these pop-ups can appear behind other windows. If nothing seems to be happening, confirm there is not a pop-up hidden behind any windows.
If you get a "Connection Failed: Unreachable" response
- Double check and confirm that the device is NOT paired in the Windows Bluetooth settings. If the device is paired in the Windows Bluetooth settings, you will NOT be able to connect in the eFlexTuner.
- If you have paired your eFlexFuel device in the Windows Settings, unpair / remove this connection.
- If you still have issues, confirm the connection is completely unpaired / removed and restart your device.
- Close other memory-heavy programs and remove other Bluetooth connections to free up .
Once connected successfully, you will see "eFlexFuel Connected" highlighted in green in the bottom left of the eFlexTuner window. If you are still having issues, please contact us.
