Most common reasons
Your vehicle is diesel-powered
eFlexFuel systems and E85 fuel are designed for gasoline engines. Diesel engines are not compatible with the eFlexFuel system.
Your vehicle is not suitable for an ethanol conversion or E85
Not all gasoline-powered vehicles are compatible with an ethanol conversion. Compatibility depends on technical characteristics such as the engine, fuel system, and engine management system.
In some vehicles, the manufacturer's technology, fuel system design, or software may prevent reliable operation with E85 fuel. In such cases, we do not offer an eFlexFuel system in order to ensure the vehicle's safety, reliability, and performance.
Your vehicle has not yet been tested
Our compatibility database is continuously updated. If your vehicle has not yet been tested or its compatibility has not been confirmed, it may not appear in the search.
